MOLINE, Ill. - A commercial airliner went off a runway while landing at Quad City International Airport Monday, resulting in the airport shutting down to all incoming and outgoing flights.
Upon landing, United Express flight 5821 swerved left and came to a stop in a dirt area off the runway around 12:45 p.m. local time. No injuries were reported. The airport was shut down after the landing, reopening at 3:00 PM local time.
